Tim Steller, Arizona Daily Star columnist, business editor, and senior reporter
Tim is a very active voice in Tucson, writing about everything from border issues to potholes in roads and associated infrastructure that we often take for granted, to city and state politics. He will be speaking about his path in journalism that brought him to AZ Daily Star and Sun, and research techniques that he employs. Tim has a BA in History from Oberlin College, a MS in Geography from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Pam Bickell and Katie Bickell
Pam Bickell is a writer and editor who now lives in Tucson. She co-owned a small community newspaper in Northern Nevada for twelve years. During those years, she expanded her communications knowledge, and her writing, editing, interviewing and marketing skills in immeasurable ways. She has a mind for marketing, loves meeting and interviewing people, and telling their stories. She is also Katie’s mother.
Katie Bickell is a young travel junky, writer and book collector. She has a degree in journalism and communications from UA. She worked for various media companies like the Pac 12 Networks, ESPN and NBC for over three years creating live television. She has a passion for using internet and social media marketing in order to elevate business and convey a message in both an authentic and profitable way.
